Our Mission

The mission of the North Texas 3-Share Plan is to provide low-cost subsidized healthcare plans to low-wage employees of small employers who have not provided health insurance to their employees for the past twelve months and thereby provide these employees with a medical home. Initially this will be accomplished through “3-Share” or “multi-share” plans in which the employee, employer and public funds each contribute to the healthcare plan.

Our Vision

Our vision is that all working people in our community, and their families, will have access to quality health care regardless of their financial circumstances. To this end, we will seek other avenues of providing healthcare to the uninsured beyond 3-Share or multi-share programs.
